Instructions for Merit Badge Counselors
All merit badge counselors need to have a current YPT certificate in order to teach a course at BRC MBU.

We are once again using meritbadge.info to manage registration for the event. You can choose to sign up on the site and manage your class roster directly. The first step is to register as a user by going to the website and clicking on Register New User in the upper right corner. This is also where you can find the Sign On button if you have registered in the past, once logged in you can click on the My Profile tab and update your information, most importantly enter a current YPT date.
If you are in a District and have a Unit/Unit Number please enter your specific information when registering.
If you are not part of a Troop/Pack/Crew, please use the choices shown below.

To see your Class Roster
Sign On to meritbadge.info.
Click on the My Profile tab, make sure you have Merit Badge Counselor checked, then click Update at the very bottom of the page. Here is an example of the Roper Mountain Counselor Profile below.
Then using the tabs at the top again. Click on the Counselor Class Roster tab.
Choose from the drop down menu BRC MBU, click Select.
Choose from the next drop down menu your class, click Select.
Your class roster will appear with all scouts registered. Lists will be finalized Friday after payment deadline Thursday.
Above your roster there is an Email Scouts button.
If you right-click on the Email Scouts button, then choose Copy Email Address, you can open a new email message and right-click again to paste the emails into your message. Please email yourself and bcc: (blind carbon copy) adults if possible.
